Henderson is a Junior and is entering his third year with Residence Life at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has been the Community Governor in Manning East Community, and a two-time Director of Sustainable Projects for the Residence Hall Association’s Exec Board. He also works as an Office Assistant in Connor Community. Henderson is studying Studio Art and Urban Planning and plans to begin a Master’s in Architecture following his time at Carolina.

Katie Way is a senior, double majoring in Economics and Communication Studies. She is currently the Vice President of NRHH, National Communications Coordinator for the Residence Hall Association, and the Programmer for Balance Residential Learning Program. She has been involved in Residence Life throughout all four of her years at Carolina. Previously, she served as a Floor Representative in Ehringhaus Community, a Building Representative in Connor Community, and Lieutenant Governor/Administrative Coordinator for Connor Community. As Vice President of NRHH this year, Katie hopes to recruit at least 40 new members and to strengthen the organization’s presence on campus.

Alexis Giannattasio is a senior Public Relations and Music double major from Raleigh, NC. She has been active in residence life since her first year at Carolina. This is Alexis’ fourth year living in the Balance RLP as a member. She was an Event Programmer during her junior year and currently serves as the RLP’s Large-Event Chair. This is her second year in NRHH, where she currently serves as the executive administrator. This year, Alexis hopes to find ways to keep NRHH members informed and active, as well as keeping open communication between all members. After graduation, Alexis hopes to work for a non-profit organization as a public relations specialist.

Tim Hartman is double majoring in Chemistry and Hispanic Linguistics. This is his second active year in housing at UNC, as well as his second year working as a Resident Advisor in Olde Campus Upper Quad. In addition, he also serves as the Fundraising Chair for NRHH. This year, Tim hopes to create innovative fundraising opportunities for NRHH members and to increase member participation.

Jamie Cook is a senior and she is double majoring in Public Relations and Psychology. During her time at Carolina, Jamie has remained active in Residence Life and Housing. She currently serves as the OTM and conference chair for NRHH, as well as the NRHH liaison to RHA. She is also a Resident Advisor in Ram Village. In addition to her involvement in Residence Life at UNC, Jamie also works as the Public Relations and Marketing Intern for No Evil Foods, a vegan meat company based in Asheville.
Travis Broadhurst, ’17 – firstname.lastname@example.org
Travis Broadhurst is a senior physics and geology major from Weaverville, NC. He was governor of Craige Community his first year, treasurer of Connor Community his sophomore year, and chair for NCARH Annual Conference that was hosted by UNC-CH in 2016. He has served as the NRHH Service Chair for the past two academic years and will continue in that role for the 2017-18 academic year. His goals for the year are for every member to get all of their service points (10 hours=10 points) and to host at least one NRHH service event each month. He would also like to see UNC’s NRHH chapter collaborate with the chapter at NC State for service events in the greater Triangle area.

Hannah Carter is a senior, double-majoring in Global Studies & Peace and War and Defense with a minor in Hispanic Studies. She has previously served as the Sustainability Officer for Connor Community Government, a Large-Event coordinator for the Balance RLP, and Recognition Chair of NRHH. She is excited to return as Recognition Chair this academic year and looks forward to ensuring that everyone involved in housing across campus feels appreciated. Hannah especially enjoys incorporating puns into her recognition events. After graduation, Hannah hopes to receive TEFL certification to teach English abroad for a year or two.
