The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the recognition branch of National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).  NACURH as an organization truly believes that recognition is a must in a strong Residence Hall community.  As such, NRHH is there to make sure that we don’t forget to give pats on the back to those who deserve them for their excellent service to residence hall life.  For more information, visit http://www.nrhh.nacurh.org/

The Society of Janus is UNC-Chapel Hill’s chapter of the NRHH; we are an honor society that recognizes the top 1% of leaders in the residence halls. Our focus lies in Service, Recognition, Leadership, and Scholarship. We recognize outstanding service in the campus residence hall communities, participate in service project around the community, and seek to enhance student life on campus. We do frequent recognition projects to highlight the positive contributions that others make for our community. We encourage members to strive in not only academics, but in extracurricular activities and help members in leadership development so they can partake in executive positions of other on-campus organizations.
